David Choi in Singapore Part 2

So, this is the second part of David Choi. This was his performance pictures.

I've run out of words to explain this guy's capabilities. Just read his biography! With millions of views and almost half a million of subscribers on YouTube, (I only have a mere 10, 11?) it was something I look forward to.

I'm glad I was inches away from him. Funny story how I got so close.

Was wandering around Esplanade after AHM's soundcheck. That was around like almost 4.30. I was thinking, "Damn, I missed David Choi's showcase but never mind, I'll drop by the Library anyway." I was gonna find the Foo Sisters anyway.

Reached there, saw hundreds there for King Ly Chee. Never heard of em before. Must be a great band, I thought. Who would've known that all of them were waiting for Ah Choi.

He was, late.

Lucky me the Foo Sisters were at the front row, so, I pushed my way through. I know, bad ethics. It was worth it though.

So his interview/showcase at Library@Esplanade ended at almost 6 and after that all of em crowded around him. It was madness. Totally crazy. His performance was due at 7 but even at 6, the area was half-covered.

Never knew someone from YouTube could gain popularity like this. Yet, he remained humble and obliged to every photo request. The young generation should learn from this dude. He keeps his head low, gets positive attention, channels his talent to something good, makes people happy.

That's a real success story from YouTube. Having said that, I still wish to meet a few more YouTube stars. Mostly the Asians. People like Wong Fu Productions, Ryan Higa, KevJumba, Cathy Nguyen *melts*, AJ Rafael, Kina Grannis and so on!

I'm actually quite sure I'll meet them one day.
